Owen is an RCVS, American and European specialist in veterinary oncology. Before his residency, he spent almost 10 years in general practice, undertaking large and small animal work, both in the UK and in India. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (chapter of small animal medicine), and holds a Master’s degree based on research into canine lymphoma.
His clinical interests include, improving the treatment of cancer in veterinary medicine, haematopoietic malignancies, diagnostic utility of signalment and clinical presentation in veterinary oncology, and prognostication of veterinary cancer.
